The Yaktrax Pro cleats are available in small, medium, large, and extra-large sizes.

Product Description

The Yaktrax Pro will instantly give you better traction, confidence and safety on packed snow or ice. Move about naturally with the same solid grip that you are accustomed to on dry surfaces. Walk or run as you normally would and experience stability on ice and snow like you have never felt before. Made with high strength, abrasion resistant 1.4 mm steel coils and heavy duty natural rubber material, the Yaktrax Pro easily conforms to the shape of your boot or shoe. With its patented SkidLock coil design, the Yaktrax Pro provides 360 degrees of traction on packed snow and ice and can be worn in temperatures as low as -41-degrees Fahrenheit.

Yaktrax's are unbeatable. They give the greatest traction in all icy conditions. I run a high mountain camp and have tried many ice traction devises. In icy conditions, CAUTION, is always the most important factor, no matter what the devise. In walking indoors all devises can be hazardous, it depends on the care you use while walking. My staff and I have used Yaktrax's for years. For inside staff, regular Yaktrax's are the best. They put them on to walk from their cabin or car to the office and pop them off once inside. For my outside staff, the Yaktrax Pro's can't be beat. They are rugged and don't ware out. The strap over the front of the boot keeps them in place in most situations. When coming inside it is best and easiest to slip the boots off and to step into indoor shoes. For long Life - take a little time - when putting "Trax's" on, make sure they slip into the grooves in the soles of the boots and if the end of a spring starts to catch, use a pair of pliers to squeeze it back into place. The Yaktrax Pro's I have on now have lasted me for three years and counting.

How to put on Stilts

 Moon Shoes - black

Jumping stilts are cool, but it's important to put them on correctly before you do anything with them. This eHow can walk you through the process of doing just that. Then it's up to you to start jumping.

Instructions

  1. Put on your knee pads. That's the first step in putting on your stilts. Safety first. Make sure the knees pads are just below your knee because that's where the control arm of the stilts is going to hit when you start doing some moves in your stilts.
  2. Slip your foot through the control arm as you put on your stilts, and place it on the base of the stilt. Position your heel and your calf so that they touch the calf support.
  3. Fasten the straps around your feet as you put on your stilts. Do this as tightly as possible because you don't want your stilts slipping off while you're doing some trick or jumping.
  4. Do the same with the last strap that's located near your knee: this strap needs to be as tight as you can manage without cutting off your circulation. You do not want your stilts coming off while you're jumping or anything else.
  5. Take your time putting on your stilts. Putting your stilts on improperly or not tightening your straps tightly enough is a sure fire way to have an accident or worse. Be careful and cautious in your preparations.

Product Description

Ride in style on the Razor® Cruiser Sweet Pea scooter. It's designed in cheerful pink, with adjustable handlebars and a patented folding system that allows easy storage and transportation. The rear fender brake is easy to master.

I've been riding this scooter almost daily for 8 months to and from work traveling approx 2 miles a day so thought I'd post a quick review. I would thoroughly recommend it with one exception - if you are going to use it for more than a couple of minutes, it is too short for anyone over 5 feet tall. I'm 5'1" and it is acceptable for my 12 minute ride. Ideally, I'd like to have a higher handlebar.

I suspect those positive reviewers who said they were much taller did not ride the scooter as much as I have, or for any length of time or they would get a sore back.

Pros

- great price
- wooden board is much bigger and more comfortable ride
- bigger wheels make it safer to ride on pavements

Cons

- Handlebar height is not high enough for anyone over 5' tall
- A piece of the plastic protecting the folding latch has started to come off due to the plastic breaking. Not a big deal at the moment.

Roller Derby Hybrid G900 Womens Inline Skates

Roller Derby Hybrid G900 Womens Inline Skates, Size 8Roller Derby Hybrid G900 Mens Inline Skates, Size 10

Product Description

Roller Derby's Hybrid G900 is a great skate for the entry level skater. The Deluxe Soft Boot Fit System provides a comfortable fit with support and performance. The aircraft aluminum frame, 80mm Speed Formula Wheels, and Bevo ABEC-9 bearings ensures a smooth and comfortable ride.

Product Features

  • External aero dynamic soft boot design with proflex system, ultra heel & ankle support system, tri-closure system of laces
  • Aircraft aluminum frame
  • 80mm speed formula urethane wheels
  • Bevo abec9 bearing
A brief synopsis: I have a pair of Rollerblade brand inline skates that are about 13 years old. They are a hard shell boot and I thought it was time for replacement. I began looking and especially liked the new hybrid type of boot, a combination of hard and soft shell materials which allows for greater ventilation/airflow and comfort-ability.

I knew what I wanted so it made the search easier. I wanted a hybrid boot; light, specifically searched for aluminum frames. I also wanted an 80mm wheel with very good bearings; either rated in the 7 or 9 category.

With my requirements; wah-la... I came across the Roller Derby Hybrid G900 inline skates. Out of the box, they looked great. The boot was attractive and the support system looked solid. The frame was light, the bearings quiet and 80mm urethane wheels. Unfortunately, I did not receive any instructions as to the care of the skates. Regardless, I could not wait to hit the pavement.

Upon my first adventure, the Hybrid G900 felt a little off. One boot was perfectly fine, while the other seemed loose (specifically my heel didn't sit right) no matter how much I re-adjusted my foot and how much I tightened it into the boot cavity. I persisted and noticed a lot of resistance in my ride. I expected to obtain certain speeds but encountered a lot of drag that prevented me without enormous effort. Ok, I thought to myself; perhaps they just need to be broken in. After all, I haven't bought new inline skates in 13 years.

I also wanted to mention that on the box of the Roller Derby Hybrid G900, there was an address for Roller Derby and an email address; no phone number. I decided to contact the company to see if this resistance was by design or simply a flaw. I made two (2) attempts in emailing them but received no replies; a bit disappointing.

I went out a total of 5 times, expecting better results. The friction was so bad that it prevented me from 180° and 360° turns. It definitely is not the Bevo Abec 9 Bearings. While testing, the wheels spin freely on the skates when not being worn. My speculation is that the urethane wheel material is "too" soft and that when the skates are on, there is too much friction against the pavement which essentially causes a slow ride and to certain extents uncontrollability, especially noticed in turns. After sever attempts, neither the boot comfort nor the resistance seemed to change. Therefore, I decided to return the skates.

Perhaps, the Roller Derby Hybrid G900 make a great "beginner" skate but as I classify myself as an intermediate skater; these skates did not fit the bill. So, if you're just starting out inline skating and want to `definitely' not go to fast - these skates may be for you.

I began to my quest to find a new skate.NEW Womens DC Surf & Skate Hoodie Sweatshirt Jacket (Size:S) I decided to go back to the "Rollerblade" brand since I had a very good experience with my 13 year old pair. I encountered the Rollerblade Wing 10 skate. It has a soft and hard shell hybrid boot, an aluminum frame, lite 80mm wheels, and SG7 bearings. I bought these while the Roller Derby brand was being returned. Upon receipt of the Rollerblade Wing 10 inline skates, I immediately put them on and went out skating. Instantaneously, I noticed the extreme boot comfort and the resistance-free ride. No drag and I was able to make loose and tight turns without any issues. Excited, I went out for a 3 mile ride. The Rollerblade Wing 10 inline skates are a keeper! These skates were twice as much as the Roller Derby brand; but you get what you pay for.

I just got these. Awesome bearings, good wheel size, the boot is comfortable enough and feels secure. It's a great quality for this price, last season is my guess.
The previous reviewer is wrong about sizing, skates should fit as tight as possibly without being uncomfortable: you toes should touch the front when your legs are straight, but not touch it when you bend your knees. I'm an 8 with a medium width and these in a size 8 with sports socks are perfect. Remember liners mold to your feet, you buy one size up and your feet will start to flop around... not very safe. You are not supposed to feel like you are wearing slippers, so get you true size.

I got these and they are awesome and fast. Great price here with amazon and free shipping no other store could beat their price. Comfy well padded skate. Where else can you get an abec 9 bearing on a skate under $70? I do recommend ordering one size up from reg shoe size. I wear an 8 and ordered the 9 and its a perfect fit. size 8 was way too tight.

Hijax Advanced Stilts

Hijax Advanced Stilts
When you think back to Christmas morning as a kid.. what was the best gift you ever received? Two stand out for me. In 1974 I got a classic wooden runner sled with red, white and blue stars from Santa. First thing I saw when I walked into the room Christmas morning and used it ever winter for the next 12+ years. I certainly miss the old sleds when I walk through Target or Toys R Us during the winter and see all the plastic. Second... 1979 was all about Star Wars. I received 5-6 vehicles and play sets from the movie. Millennium Falcon, X-Wing and that classic 3 story Death Star play set with the trash compactor room. Up until that time I had the figures but no vehicles. Totally awesome morning. I still enjoy looking at the photos of that morning. To be young again...

Moon Shoes - black

 Moon Shoes - Black
Just as Sea Monkeys are not really a bunch of tiny pink people who wear crowns and hairdos and create ersatz civilizations, so too are Moon Shoes something short of a personal trampoline experience. Still, if you’re careful and have expectations that are somewhat earthbound, these springy little strap-on sandals can be an awful lot of fun. Built for people age seven and up with a maximum weight of 180 pounds, the Moon Boots have adjustable bindings to fit up to a USA men’s size 9. They are constructed of heavy duty plastic but the construction is such that the boots look likely to stay intact. As for how high they bounce, that’s going to depend on the bouncer’s size, leg strength, and bravery. And we would certainly recommend at least caution if not padding. --Charlie Williams

Product Description

Moon shoes are the original mini trampolines made for feet so kids can jump with anti-gravity effects. Plus, they help to develop balance and coordination. The wacky Moon Shoes are made of quality, high-density plastic, adjustable nylon straps with sure-footing and nonskid treads. They fit up to size 9 men's shoes and hold a maximum total weight of 180 pounds.

Flybar 800 Pogo Stick

 Flybar 800 Pogo Stick
By replacing the steel spring of a traditional pogo stick with a patented system of rubber spring elements, the pogo has been reinvented for the 21st century by the Flybar 800. This revolutionary, gravity-defying device can propel you four feet into the air, thanks to the eight heavy-gauge elastomer rubber "thruster" rods--which are specially formulated to stretch up to 300 percent. The spring system can be fine-tuned to reflect any jumper's skill level, body weight and goals. In addition to being a screaming good time, the Flybar 800 is also ideal for building balance, strength and endurance with a truly inspirational and challenging workout. Its body is constructed of high-strength, reinforced aluminum and it features sure-grip handlebars and foot pegs that let you stick every bounce perfectly. Designed for ages 12 and older, it supports riders from 80 to 180 pounds. Wear a helmet and use only with adult supervision.
Adjusting the Flybar to Suit Your Weight

Choose to engage up to 12 rubber thrusters to determine the force of your bounce.
The Flybar is equipped with 12 thrusters--the rubber rods anchored to the lower mount. The top end of each thruster is designed to be hooked--or "engaged"--onto the upper mount in order to power the Flybar. By choosing how many thrusters to engage, you determine the force of the Flybar bounce. It's recommended that you start by engaging one thruster per twenty pounds of weight (i.e., if you weigh 160 lbs., engage eight out of the 12 thrusters). If you engage too many thrusters for your weight/ability, you'll encounter too much resistance. If you engage too few, you'll be able to bottom out (i.e., push the foot pegs to the ground) without even tapping your full strength. The ideal setting should allow you to nearly bottom out while jumping with your full strength. Which Piston Length is Right for You?

Quickly adjust the piston to achieve a peak bounce height.
Piston Length can be set in nine positions, from seven inches to eighteen inches. Generally, the longer you set the piston, the higher you'll bounce. That's because most people can achieve a peak bounce height (measured from the foot-pegs to the ground) that's twice the piston length. In other words: if the piston is set at 12 inches, you'll end up with your feet 24 inches above the ground during a peak bounce. For novices, we recommend a shorter piston length for greater control, although even advanced users may prefer a shorter piston length for certain tricks or precision maneuvers. About the Flybar
Since his first boyhood bounces on a pogo stick, pro skateboarder Andy Macdonald had a passion for the elevation, exhilaration, and pure fun that the pogo offered. Even though Andy went on to become the world's top-ranked skateboarder (a title he still holds today), he never lost the desire to revisit that rush he knew as a young boy on his pogo. However, no product substantial enough to support the weight, strength, and demands of a world-class athlete existed. So in the summer of 2000, Andy embarked on an effort to find a manufacturing partner that could deliver on his vision for this next-generation product.

Pro skateboarder Andy Macdonald's boyhood dream leaps into reality.
Irwin Arginsky, president of SBI Enterprises, had shared that same vision and goal but for an even longer time. SBI Enterprises has been manufacturing pogo sticks since 1918 and developed a reputation as the industry leader. In fact, the company is the original holder of the Hansburg Pogo patents. Although SBI experienced steady success over the years, Mr. Arginsky continually searched for an opportunity to develop a product that would bring the "excitement of elevation" to a new level. It was this common quest for a product that could elevate adults as well as children to new levels and in new ways that ultimately led to the unlikely partnership between Andy Macdonald and SBI Enterprises.
After countless meetings and false leads, Macdonald was about to abandon his quest, frustrated by the futility of his efforts to find a sporting goods manufacturer willing and able to develop this new product--until August 10, 2001. On that date, Macdonald spotted a story in The Wall Street Journal on the fad of newfangled pogos on the market, ones that included bells and whistles but lacked any new technology or capabilities. SBI's Irwin Arginsky was quoted in the article, making reference to a new technology that would revolutionize the concept of bouncing. Arginsky's goal: To create a new product category--not just a new fad.

Enjoy the view!.
Macdonald quickly contacted Arginsky, who eagerly offered to share the beta prototype of a patented elastomeric spring system that was mobile like a pogo and could clear heights of over 5 feet, with a bounce that felt like a trampoline. After testing the system in a secret meeting with Arginsky in the shadow of the 2001 Gravity Games, Macdonald was convinced this was the real deal. A partnership was born as the two businessmen and visionaries agreed to collaborate in developing and marketing the product known today as the Flybar 1200 model. But there was much work to be done. With the market flooded at the time with pogo sticks that made promises they could not deliver, this team knew their product had to withstand the skeptics and truly earn respect. For three years, SBI and its development team of engineers, designers, and manufacturing experts collaborated with Macdonald to translate the patented system into a product capable of mass production and that met the exacting demands of Macdonald and Arginsky. After investing more than a million dollars and innumerable labor-hours, testing multiple prototypes, and resisting temptations to rush to market, the Flybar is now available in two models.

Product Description

The Flybar 800 weighs 11+ lbs, approximately half of what the Flybar 1200 weighs, and is 30% less bulky than the Flybar 1200. Substantial height attainability of over 4 feet. Great for both boys, girls, men and women. Non skid rubber tip. One pin (quick) piston adjustment for 3 different settings. User friendly and easy to adjust. Flybar 800 test jumpers rave about how smooth and quiet the ride is, with substantially no or extremely low impact on their knees.

  • Appropriate for ages 12 and up--supports rider weight from 80-180 pounds
